In Corona days, I had more time to read books like everyone else. I have finished the “Creativity”, the book that I have been holding for months now. Ed Catmull, the head of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation companies, shares his experiences and what he did to create a creative environment and, most importantly, to maintain this culture. While doing these things, of course, many people contributed, like Pixar's partner Steve Jobs. It is one of the books that is written very transparent and must be read by every manager. I will also read over and over again in the future. The animators who work here are free to (encouraged to) decorate their work spaces in whatever style they wish . Annual company traditions include "Pixarpalooza", where our in-house rock bands battle for dominance. The point is, we value self-expression here.
